Those participating in the collaborative law process may benefit not only from legal input but also from the expertise and assistance of professionals from other disciplines.Independent consultants may be jointly instructed to provide specialist advice. Such specialists may include accountants, tax advisers, life coaches, counsellors and IFA’s.

Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs)
Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) work with separating couples to develop options for settlement and to explore the effect of these options having regard to the investments which the parties hold. Two Collaboratively trained IFAs are instructed during the process. The "neutral" suggests potential options for dealing with investments and pensions. The “implementer” puts into effect the choices agreed. Resolution accredited IFA members are marked “*”.
